I am here to help answer all the frequently asked questions that google, reddit and my inbox see when it comes to proposing. I have found a love in capturing this once in a lifetime moment quickly and quietly, while providing high quality edits same day so you and your Fiance can share this moment with friends and family near instantly.

Where should I propose?

This is the top question i get when talking to my clients, they always want to know where they should propose because they have a ton of great ideas but are struggling to narrow it down to one place. There are multiple answers to this question. You could go with the obvious: location of your first date. You could go with the sentimental: wHERE i SAID "i love you" FOR THE FIRST TIME, OUR FAVORITE HIKING SPOT, OUR FAVORITE PARK, ETC. oR YOU COULD GO WITH SOMETHING THAT THEY WILL NOT EXPECT: dOWN BY THE LAKE, AT A FLOWER FIELD, AT THE ROOFTOP BAR.

tHERE IS NO WRONG ANSWER BUT THERE ARE A FEW THINGS TO THINK ABOUT. wHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS NOT PERFECT? Is this location busy during certain times of the day making it difficult to have an intimate moment with your partner? How can you convince your partner to go to this location?

That last one is crucial, becuase it is very difficult to propose to someone if they do not want to go to the location you have chosen. My Advice is to go with what your gut it telling you is best. My favorite spots in Southeastern Wisconsin are:

Boerner botanical Gardens

For the love of flowers farm

The pier out by Discovery World

Golden Mast INN

hOW SHOULD i PROPOSE?

tHIS ONE HAS TO COME FROM THE HEART AND THE MOST IMPORTANT PIECE OF ADVICE THAT i GIVE MY CLIENTS IS TO BREATHE! wHEN the moment is nearing I can tell that they are nervous which Is completely normal, take a deep breath, get on one knee and remember to ask "will you marry me?".

I will be in the perfect spot and tend to move around for different angles so you do not have to worry about me at all. Simply focus on your soon to be fiance!

Basic Timeline of a Proposal:

  • Wake up knowing today is the day
  • Tell your partner that you want to do something fun today and they should get dressed up
  • Hide the ring somewhere they will not see
  • Get to location and remember to breathe
  • See photographer out of the corner of your eye and find the correct place to stop
  • Propose
  • CELEBRATE AND HEAR A HUGE "WOO" FROM YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
  • Show off the ring to the photographer and get a few more photos to remember the day
  • go to eat and receive photos by the time dessert shows up

Should I hire a Photographer?

YES! This is a huge moment in the story of your relationship and it deserves to be documented. Instead of fumbling with a phone or asking a stranger for help, hire a professional. I help you plan the location, time and give you pointers to ensure your photos look and feel like you and your partner.

plus I provide same day delivery. Most of my clients propose before dinner, and by the time dessert shows up so do their photos. This way you are able to share the news with family and friends with gorgeous, professional photos and 0 stress.
